Packers Win Again at Lambeau Against the Tough Broncos!

2 min read

Well it’s all roses in Wisconsin with another win over the Broncos. Many would say with the Packers highly favourable schedule within the first weeks of the 100th season and adjustments to the offence helped with their win, but they would be forgetting the skill and form of Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offence.

Sunday afternoon the Pack took the field against Manning and the Broncos and managed a narrow win with a score of 27 to 16. The stands at Lambeau Field were packed for this showdown, and the fans were not disappointed.

This result was the Broncos third straight week in which they had a chance to come back in the second half from a double-digit deficit, but sadly they fell short.

Three crucial turnovers made by the Broncos offence kept Denver from shinning over the Packers. Two of those big turnovers led to direct touchdowns for the Packers. The Broncos do however remain without a sack or takeaway within the first three weeks of the season. The Broncos have never been able to pull out a win over the Packers while on the road. Today they still remain winless at Lambeau Field.

The two turnovers came from key Denver players Noah Fant at tight end and Joe Flacco at Quarterback. The Broncos have some work to do heading into week 5, but as far as the Packers are concerned whatever they are doing they should continue to do so.

The Broncos now head back home where they’ll need to shake off the loss and prepare for their Sunday match against the Jacksonville Jaguars. And as for the Packers they’ll be at home again for their next match against the tough Philadelphia Eagles. One thing is for certain the Packers defence seems to be on fire when it comes to forcing turnovers and stopping offensive drives.
