Packers Manage to Hold on For a Crucial Win at Lambeau Field!

2 min read

In a nail-biting game over the weekend the Packers managed to pull out a win against the bears and truly knock them out of playoff contention. Now the Packs are guaranteed a spot in the NFL playoffs. Now the big question on everyone’s mind is will they grab the number 2 slot and have a by the first week or have to play in the wild card round as the number 3 seed. This meeting of the bears and Packers is the longest running rivalry in the NFL.

Only time will tell but the odds certainly look like they are in Green Bay’s favour. With a favorable schedule and Aaron Rodgers along with Devante Adams playing at their best so far it seems the Packers have nothing holding them back. Monday the Packers play the Vikings in Minnesota which should be a thrilling game. Then the week after that a day before New Year’s Eve the Packers will head to Detroit to face the Lions who unfortunately have one of the worst records in the league.

Matt Fleur as head coach must be thrilled with his breakout first year as the Packs new coach This offense seems to be on fire and with all the momentum on Rodgers side it seems like last year’s season has become a learning lesson but at the end of the day no bearer of this year’s season.

As it stands now in the NFC division the Seahawks are in the number 1 seed spot, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon Bringing up the rear is Green Bay however that could all change if two things were to happen in the last two week of the regular season. If the Packers were to lose on the road against the Vikings or the Lions, and the New Orleans win the remainder of their games then they will be bumped to the third slot and will have to play in the NFC wild card game. We all have to wait and see, but in the meantime, the rest of the line-up looks something like this.
