Packers Kill It in Their First Game of the Pre-Season!

Well in the much anticipated first game of the NFL Pre-Season the Packers walk away with a narrow win against the Texans at Lambeau field Thursday night. Green Bay managed to generate a total of four turnover which is a lot considering how well matched these two teams are.

The Quarterbacks DeShone Kizer scored one touchdown and Tim Boyle scored another two for a full three touchdown passes and the rookie RB Dexter Williams at the top of his game ran 14 times for 62 yards to lead the Packers on offense.

The Packers lead 7 to 0 after the first quarter with a nice explosive start, with a nice return run by Equanimeous St. Brown. However, at half-time the Texans managed to get themselves back in the game and even out the score making it 14 to 10 with Packers still up.

After the third quarter the Packers managed to score two more touchdown to bring the score up to 28 to 10. Fourth quarter with only 13 minutes left of play the Texans were within only 12 points with the score 28 to 16. Sadly, late in the fourth quarter with a fumble the Texans tried for the endzone but were unsuccessful and had to settle for a 45-yard field goal making the score 28 to 19.

After this the Texans managed to score one more touchdown but by then it was too late for another score they tried for the onside kick but packers star Brady Shelton recovered the ball to end the Texans shot and held on to their lead for a 28 to 26 win in their first game of NFL’s 100thseason.

In a nail bitting match, it’s evident that this is going to be one of the most exciting seasons of football yet. The Packers can wipe the sweat off their foreheads and get ready for another tough match against the Baltimore Ravens next week Thursday.
